Cookie policy
This page explains the cookies used on thedo.club. A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser.
The short version
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t track you around the web. The only optional cookies are Google Analytics, and they are only set if you say yes when you first visit. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Cookies that can be set
-
Google Analytics (only if you accept). Tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us, so we can improve the site. Google sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_<id>, kept for up to two years. We don’t use it for advertising and we don’t share it with anyone else. If you say no, Google Analytics is never loaded. -
Paying for a booking or membership. Payments are taken on Stripe’s secure checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), not on our website. Stripe sets its own strictly necessary cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud. Stripe explains these in its cookie policy.
-
Our team’s editing tools. When a member of our team signs in to edit the website, a strictly necessary cookie keeps them signed in. Visitors never see these tools.
Your choice is remembered
Your answer to the cookie question is stored in your browser (not in a cookie) so we don’t ask again. Clearing your browser data resets it.
If this changes
If we ever add other optional cookies, we will ask for your permission first and update this page.
How you can block cookies
You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies.
However, please be aware that blocking cookies may affect your ability to use the website. In particular, you may not be able to pay for bookings or memberships.
