The Do Club is delighted to be partnering with Abode to host a standout day at Shrovetide in Ashbourne on Tuesday 17th February.
Shrovetide is Ashbourne’s famous Royal Shrovetide Football, a proper Derbyshire tradition where the town comes alive for the “tip off” and the afternoon follows the ball through streets, pubs, and packed viewpoints. Expect great atmosphere, good hospitality, and a relaxed day with brilliant people.

8.45am Meet at Vin X Wine Tasting Cellar, Barton under Needwood for Mimosa
9.15am Collection by limo, transfer to Wildhive Callow Hall
10.15am Arrival at Wildhive Callow Hall
10.30am Brunch is served
12.15pm Transfer by limo to Ashbourne
12.30pm Welcome drinks at the Abode base, Market Place, and a quick run through of the plan for the day
1.30pm Wander over for the Shrovetide ball tip off
2.00pm Tip off
Afternoon at your leisure
After tip off, enjoy the day your way. Follow the ball, dip into Ashbourne’s pubs and bars, and use the Abode base as your retreat throughout the afternoon, with drinks available whenever you want a breather.
4.45pm Re convene at Abode
5.30pm Transfer back to Vin X, Barton under Needwood
6.30pm Home James
This is a relaxed day of proper good fun, with a great crowd and an easy chance to catch up with new and familiar business leaders, without anything feeling forced.
