The Do Club are delighted to be able to support Lewis Moody MBE at our St George’s Day Rugby Dinner, following the sad news that he has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Lewis’s close friends from his days at Leicester Tigers and with England will be entertaining guests during and following dinner, with the following being in attendance.
Geordan Murphy – the most decorated player in Premiership Rugby history, Captain of Leicester Tigers and Ireland, British & Irish Lion & Leicester Tigers Director of Rugby.
Leon Lloyd – over 270 appearances for Leicester Tigers and Gloucester scoring over 100 tries from the wing and centre, 5 England caps and a member of the 1999 England World Cup Squad.
Simon Shaw – 396 appearances for London Wasps and Toulon, 71 England caps including a World Cup Winner and a British & Irish Lion with 2 caps.
Tom Croft will be hosting the evening – 71 Leicester Tigers appearances, 40 England Caps including a member of the 2011 World Cup amd a member of two Lions Tours.
This will be a fabulous night celebrating Lewis’s career with great stories and anecdotes from some of the personalities he has played elite level rugby with.
